A motor vehicle is the second largest investment you will make. We at Pro Auto cannot over emphasize the importance of regular routine maintenance of any vehicle!

Preventive maintenance can avoid costly repairs in the long run. Taking care of your vehicle and finding the little issues before they become a major problem or headache is where we can help you.

As a NAPA Certified AutoCare facility we offer 4 levels of maintenance for your vehicle. These levels of maintenance are designed to augment the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule for whatever brand of vehicle you own or drive.

LEVEL 1 (Recommended) Every 3,000 to 4,000 miles

When you have this level service performed we will:

Change engine oil and filter, lubricate the chassis, steering and suspension components (where applicable), rotate (4) tires, inspect and measure brake shoes/pads.

Perform a visual inspection of:

All driveline and suspension components, windshield wiper condition, all drive belts and cooling system hoses/clamps, exhaust system condition, operation of all exterior lamps, battery connection condition and appearance of electrical connections, signs of fluid leakage and areas, operation of horn.

We will inspect and note the levels/condition of:

Engine coolant (including temperature freeze point), Transmission fluids (both manual and automatic), Brake fluid (pH and condition), Power steering fluid, differential oils (including 4X4), Transfer Case oil (4X4).

LEVEL 2 (Recommended) Every 6,000 to 7,500 miles includes all items in LEVEL 1 plus the following:

Inspect and lubricate spare tire retractor (if equipped)

Lubricate all hinges, locks, openers and latches

Inspect engine air filter element

Inspect passenger compartment filter(s) and pollen filter(s)

Service Braking Systems including, disassembly and inspection of primary components at all 4 wheels, cleaning of components, lubrications and reassembly of brake shoes (if equipped), inspection of flexible and rigid hoses/lines, lubricate parking brake cables and linkages.

Cooling System Service, check coolant pH and temperature protection, Anti-Freeze drain and refill (or) flush and refill, pressure test cooling system, inspect all hoses and belts.

LEVEL 3 (Recommended) Every 12,000 to 15,000 miles includes all items in LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 plus the following:

Fuel Filter Replacement

PCV Valve replacement

Ignition System inspection, inspect spark plugs (and replace if needed), inspect spark plug wires

Performance testing and inspection of heating and air conditioning systems

External inspection of radiator and air conditioning condenser

Inspection of restraint devices

LEVEL 4 (Recommended) Every 24,000 to 30,000 miles includes all items in LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2 and LEVEL 3 plus the following:

Timing belt replacement (if needed)

Fuel Injection Cleaning

Top Engine (combustion chamber) Cleaning

Ignition Advance Testing (if applicable)

When performing any of the above procedures, we can make recommendations in conjunction with your vehicle manufacturers’ recommended services.
